The Malcom Wilson Rally has been a feature of the rally calendar for 41 years and will be running again this year in the beautiful landscape of the Lake District. The event starts from the town of Cockermouth on Saturday 11th March.

Myerscough College second year Motorsport Management and Logistics Degree students have been given the opportunity to organise the trophy ceremony for this year’s prestigious event. The awards ceremony has not traditionally been well supported, so the students have been tasked with increasing its profile and attendance.

Everyone is welcome to attend the rally and the trophy ceremony where there will be hot food and beverages available on sale. If you have not yet attended a rally or you are a big rally enthusiast then this event would be a great opportunity to get down and dirty and enjoy a day of fast cars and tight tracks, whilst also enjoying a friendly atmosphere, with a brilliant cooked meal and a drink while rubbing shoulders with the rally winners at the end of the day.

The awards ceremony will be held from 17:00 at the Hired Lad, Agricultural Hall, Skirsgill, Penrith, CA11 0DN close to the M6.
