For the 43rd time we will provide a forest stage event in the beautiful Lake District. Starting from the friendly town of Cockermouth where scrutineering will take place on the Main Street & documentation will take place in the M-Sport complex. It will be organised by the same experienced team who have been involved for many years. The event has easy access via the M6 motorway & good A roads, the event finish will be as last year within a few metres of the M6 shortening the journey home for almost all crews so come on up! We are keeping up with modern trends by making regulations and entries available online with payment by direct bank transfer, or use two cheques if desired so that you can spread the cost. Note: when entering on line you will see an acknowledgement of submission when submitted and we will acknowledge your entry when we have matched your on line payment or received your cheques!
Route notes will be available to all competitors; in line with other BTRDA® events these will only be available direct from Brian & Liz Patterson. See separate details within the regulations. To improve the enjoyment of both driver & co-driver we will provide outline route maps, stage maps & tulips for road & stage sections in the road book posted out in advance – talk about Value for Money! With a big increase in interest in the smaller classes and the return of Rally First and the Historic Cup we recommend an early entry to avoid disappointment. We look forward to seeing you in March.
We are now compelled to run the event with traditional seeding so our smooth stages should be appreciated. Well behaved management cars are welcome and may freely use the areas provided. M-Sport will again provide their superb facilities for documentation and overnight rally car park. Pearl Wilson will again have her stall to raise money for the In House charity of the year, and the Pit Stop Café will be open for catering – at very reasonable prices both on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Security is still a high priority so please restrict your movements to the areas open to the Rally.
